I realized a while back that “family portraits” might not be my forte. I’ve seen some photographs of families, and they’re pretty amazing. I think I do better with subjects that are still, or sleeping, or you know…in the womb. Newborns and maternity might be my favorite category as far as portraits are concerned. So. We live in Texas. A wonderful state in which we NEVER know what in the world the weather will be like from one day to the next. Although you can almost Guarantee that it’s going to be HUMID. MY GOD THE HUMIDITY. That is, until we’re in the Fall/Winter season….
